Priya Perera

Priya is a skilled and tertiary qualified Assurance professional with extensive experience in leadership, assurance, auditing, governance and compliance with more than 15 years of experience specialising in change management, risk management, management systems auditing and third party certifications,  document management, implementing organisational policies and procedures.

Priya is currently the Assurance Manager at V/Line, Australia’s largest regional public transport operator. Previous to this role, she was the Quality Assurance Manager at the Department of Transport and Planning VIC. In 2022 and again in 2026, Priya has been nominated as a finalist in the National Women in Industry Awards for Transport Excellence. She is Exemplar Global Certified as Principal Auditor for Quality Management Systems and Green Belt qualified with demonstrated lean practices.

In addition to these industry certifications, Priya graduated from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka and successfully completed her MBA with AIB in 2022. Priya can provide assistance with implementing and continuously improving management systems and assurance audit certifications as well as change management, business continuity, risk management, auditing and implementation of policies and frameworks to enhance assurance.
