Federal Canadian Student Aid Update

The Canadian Federal Government has made changes to student aid eligibility which may affect you as an incoming AIB student. These changes will apply to all provinces in Canada. 

Please note, interpretation and enforcement of these changes is up to the discretion of individual provinces. AIB cannot confirm student eligibility. Students are responsible for confirming their own eligibility with their local provincial student aid office.

Alongside self-funding and payment plans, there are a number of ways to help finance your studies. Depending on your personal circumstances, this may include RRSP withdrawals through the Lifelong Learning Plan, employer sponsorship or reimbursement and tuition tax credits.
